Liberia to benefit from handball academy
By Joseph Morris Vincent
Liberian Ambassador-at-Large for Youth and Sports Alioune Kebe recently met with PAUC, a renowned handball club based in Aix-en-Provence, France, to discuss the potential opening of a handball academy in Liberia.
This initiative, according to Ambassador Kebe, is not just about sports. It is about changing lives.
Ambassador Kebe said the launching of the sports academies is aimed at giving young people the chance to develop their talents, promote sportsmanship, and create pathways for a brighter future.
He maintained that the project will help young athletes unlock their full potential while creating job opportunities, driving social change, and fostering growth.
The Liberian Ambassador At Large for Youth and Sports has also said the establishment of the academy will play a key role in building Liberia’s national team for the 2026 Youth Olympic Games.
