Covenant Parish links with top gospel music producer
A Gambian-based Nigerian music producer is currently in Sweden working in partnership with the New Covenant Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, pastored by Rev. Samuel Oluware, in Borås on a recording project and a church conference slated for October.
Bolanle Joel Ekanoye, who arrived in Sweden on July 7, is also working with gospel artist Nancy Bergdahl to record a full gospel music album. Bergdahl and the RCCG Choir plan a joint studio recording session.
During his time in the country, the multi-talented producer, who is also a sound engineer, arranger, songwriter, singer, drummer and music director, has made a huge impact on the music scene greasing the wheels of the choir of the church.
Ekanoye, who goes under the artist name Bmaster, is a three-time nominee for the African Gospel Music Award (presented in the UK) in the best gospel radio presenter category.
He has worked with platinum artists like Frankie Dancehall Paul (Jamaica), Jaliba Kuyateh (The Gambia), Uganda’s topmost female singer Jennifer Lawala, Pacotille, Vivian Ndure (Senegal), G-Kay (Ghana) and other prominent artists from U.K, America, Holland, Norway, Austria, Sweden, Nigeria, Serra Leone, Liberia, Guinea and others.
