CinemAfrica, a Sweden-based organization that promotes African films, will hold a filmmaking workshop in February next year.

According to information posted on its website, the organization said the workshop which is scheduled for February 5 to 11 in the Swedish capital, Stockholm, is intended for Afro-Swedes interested in filmmaking, who are over the age of 16. 

Areas to be covered during the workshop include writing, filming and technical work, directing, editing, and funding and distribution.

Meanwhile, the organization will be accepting applications for the event up to December 31. The workshop will be held in collaboration with Filmbasen, Filmcloud and Luxor African Film Festival.
