Street Festival in Linköping this weekend
The Skäggestorp Street Festival, a culture and street festival, will be held this weekend (Saturday and Sunday) in Linköping, Sweden.
The event is filled with music, dance, poetry, storytelling, among other activities and will be staged in the Skäggestorp neighborhood.
The organizers note in a Facebook post that the festival serves as a meeting place for groups and individuals to display their creative talents, experiences and narratives.
Prize-winning lecturer, entrepreneur, writer and filmmaker Zanyan Adami, DJ Jonas Ralme, Musician Hassibullah Faizi, MC and rapper Joel P and hiphop act 18 Horses will participate in the event.
Also expected to showcase talent are the Indian band, Chennai Express; Rico Suave, Ana Imraa, Csilla Abji Ucayal, Abdul Hassani, Mustafa Khries, Soap On A Rope, among others.
The festival is a collaboration among the Kulturlabbet, local housing company, Willhem; Bilda and Studieforbundet Vuxenskolan.
