Sam Johnson: Liberian striker returns to Sweden
Liberian striker Sam Johnson has returned to Sweden’s top football championship, Allsvenskan to play for struggling side Mjällby in a deal that will run till next season.
Mjällby’s sports director Hasse Larsson noted that the 28-year-old is a prolific goal scorer who is dangerous in the offensive penalty area.
Few years ago, Johnson featured prominently for top Swedish club Djurgården before moving on to play for Wuhan Zall (China), Vålerenga (Norway), Real Salt Lake (US) and Sabah (Malaysia).
