RCCG donates to 14,000 Liberian members
RCCG members with bags of rice donated by Pastor Adeboye
The General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church Of God (RCCG) Pastor E.A. Adeboye, based in Nigeria, in partnership with the church’s Africa Mission on Sunday presented assorted food and nonfood items to over 14,000 members.
Each RCCG member received a 5kg bag of rice, hand sanitizer and soap as well as an Ebola kit for their own safety. Pamphlets with instructions Ebola prevention were also distributed to them.
Olatunde Olubenga, RCCG’s national pastor in Liberia, told newsmen that Pastor Adeboye was deeply concerned about the condition of Liberians in the wake of the deadly virus.
He said Pastor Adeboye’s donation was line with his work for God saying “the children of God need to live healthy and safe from all evil.”
Pastor Olubenga added that similar donations were made to RCCG members in Sierra Leone and Guinea, two countries also affected by the virus.
