A pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) says humans need the favor of God in their lives.
Pastor K.E. Palmer of RCCG’s Restoration Assembly of Malmo, Sweden Sunday said there are five key benefits for those who enjoy divine favor.

Serving as a guest preacher at the end of a two-day women’s seminar at RCCG’s Covenant Parish in Boras, Sweden, Pastor Palmer, who called on all to walk in favor with God, named the first key benefit of divine favor as victory over the enemy.

The enemy, she said, comes in many forms, not necessarily in physical human form but through laws, ordinances, etc that could block progress. “If you are favored by God, your enemy cannot triumph over you,” she noted.

The second benefit, she told the small congregation, is that God’s favor gives protection and life. “When you are highly favored, that favor becomes a shield around you; nobody, no force, no power can do anything to you,” Pastor Palmer added.

Another benefit, she noted, was that of preferential treatment. Pastor Palmer said those who are favored by God are singled out for promotion on the job, etc and are singled out for greatness, noting that “no other person can take what God has given you,”

The two-day seminar, which ran under the title Founded Favor, ended Sunday with a service of music, drama and a thoughtful sermon.
