Sweden’s top football league, the Allsvenskan, is gradually picking up steam with African players banging in the goals in the 4th round.

Maic Sema of DR Congo ancestry scored the only goal in the second half as Sundsvall collected a 1-0 win over Trelleborg on April 17 while Zimbabwean hitman Tino Kadewere blasted twice as Djurgarden outclassed defending champions Malmo 3-0. 

Eritrea’s Henok Goitom broke the deadlocked for AIK in the 53rd minute of a 1-1 draw against Orebro 1-1. Gambian attacker Pa Amat Dibba provided one of the goals in Hammarby’s 2-1 victory over Norrkoping. 

Issam Jebali opened the scoring as Elfsborg collected its first win of the campaign over Brommapojkarna 2-0. The Tunisian midfielder struck in the 74th minute.

Round five which began on April 21 saw Nigerian attacker Isaac Boye Edegware hit target in the 90th minute in a 2-0 victory over Ostersund.

Sierra Leonean Mohammed Buya Turay made the scoreline 2-0 in the 16th minute just three minutes after setting up the match opener but Sundsvall rallied back to end the match 2-all.

Moroccan Mostapha El Kabir grabbed a 54th minute equalizer as his team Hacken held league leaders Hammarby 2-2 while Senegalese Aliou Badji made it 2-1 for Djurgarden in a match against Elfsborg that ended 2-2.

In the 4th round of the first division or Superettan, which is one tier below the Allsvenskan, South African forward Mihlali Mayambela scored for Brage in a 1-1 affair against Gais last Friday.

Nigerian forward hit two goals as leaders Falkenberg grabbed a 3-1 win over Frej whose lose goal was scored by another Nigerian, Nsima Peters.

Denmark

Sierra Leonean Christian Moses banged in two goals as Viborg collected a 3-0 win over Thisted on Friday in the Danish second tier, the first division, while Ogude Ifeanyi of Nigeria opened the scoring as Vendsyssel overwhelmed  Skive 2-0.

Ivorian D’Avila Ba Loua broke the deadlock on 30 minutes for Velje as they were held 1-1 by Roskilde.

Moses was on target again on Tuesday as Viborg recorded a 3-3 draw against Nykobing. The Sierra Leonean striker scored in the 42nd minute.
