The Swedish football premiership kicked back into full swing over the weekend after a short break with Africans scoring in two of the matches.

Eritrean hitman Henok Goitom, back from injury, restored AIK to a 1-1 parity in the 33rd minute of a 2-all draw at home against Ostersund. AIK now occupies the 5th place, just one below Ostersund but with both teams on 22 points after 13 rounds.

Midfielder Maic Sema of Ugandan extraction scored a 2nd minute goal and added another 35 minutes later as his club Orebro beat 2nd-placed Norrkoping 4-2 .

As premiership clubs returned to action, the lower rank, the first division, wrapped up its 14th round to take a break for a couple of weeks.

South African midfielder Mihlali Mayambela scored the match winner  twenty minutes from time as Degefors grabbed a 2-1 victory over Orgryte. Uganda’s Lumala Abdu hit the net in the 86th minute as his club Varberg suffered a 5-2 loss away to Oster. The first division resumes on July 22.
