Grand Gedeans back Veep Boakai for president
Liberians, under the banner of Global Grand Gedeans in Support of Joseph N. Boakai, have presented a statement of support to Vice President Joseph N. Boakai, pledging to rally all Grand Gedeans to champion his presidential bid come 2017.

The group made the assertion Thursday when it formally presented a statement of support to Vice President Boakai at his Capitol Building office in Monrovia, the Liberian capital.
The group said the membership of the organization is based in the UK, USA, Australia, and Africa from diverse political parties, social backgrounds and whose single motive is to make Boakai president of Liberia in 2017.
According to the organization’s chairman, Amos Zleh, the membership comprises professionals and non-professionals, youths, students, traditional and religious groups, women groups and marketer, among others.
The delegation comprised of Ernest Waylee, Secretary General of the group; Paul Thomas, and Amos Zleh, who were accompanied to the Office of the Vice President by Mr. Peter Solo, Superintendent of Grand Gedeh County.
Vice President Boakai in response referred to the statement as an “honest act” and spoke of the importance of such a relationship that will bring about trustworthiness, development and dignity to the nation.
