African goals in 2nd week of Swedish football leagues
The second week of Sweden’s topmost football championship, Allsvenskan, last weekend saw African goal scorers improving their marks after a slow start from the previous week.
Ghanaian attacker Mamudu Moro headed in a consolation for Helsingborg in a 2-1 loss to Hacken while DR Congo striker Maic Sema scored a second half goal as Sundsvall dismissed Malmo 3-1.
Sirius went to the top of the table with a 3-2 victory over Eskilstuna in a match which saw Eritrean Mohammed Khalid Saeid tapping in from close range to open the score in the 5th minute.
Sierra Leonean forward Mohammed Buya Turay was on the score-sheet the 2nd week in a roll when he increased the lead for Djurgarden to 2-0 with a header in the 70 minute in a 3-0 win over Orebro.
In the second tier, Superettan, Eritrean Nahom Girmai Netabay broke the deadlock in the 16th minute as his side Varberg overcame Trelleborg 3-1 while Kenyan striker Eric Omondi grabbed two goals in Brommapojkarna’s 4-0 demolition of Dalkurd.
Syrianska whipped Frej 3-0 with Ugandan attacker Lumala Abdu providing the opener in the 24th minute.
